In this course, you will learn how to build a custom connector with Workato's Connector SDK. Custom connectors can be customized to your team's needs and distributed easily across your organization.

  • Plan your connector objects, actions, and triggers
  • Identify parts of the SDK skeleton, including basic schema and simple lambda functions
  • Navigate the Connector SDK console
  • Build your first custom connector with simple authentication
  • Define an action

Prerequisites

Automation Pro Certificates

Before taking this Introduction to Connector SDK course, we highly recommend successful completion of both Automation Pro I and Pro II certificate courses. These courses will give you the foundational understanding of Workato connectors which is necessary to create custom connectors with Workato SDK.

Basic Programming Knowledge

You will need some basic programming knowledge. In this course, we will encounter basic data structures. We will also utilize arrays and hashes as well as Ruby to manipulate both. 

You should also be familiar with API endpoints and understand how to read and search within API documentation.

 

Schedule and Time Commitment

This course is self-paced and there are no deadlines. Your progress is saved and you will not lose access to any course material. You can expect to complete the course in about 2 hours, including videos, interactive activities, and exercises.
