Welcome to Recipe Lifecycle Management by Workato.
This course provides guidance on how your organization can plan, implement, and operate automations by applying recipe lifecycle management processes in Workato workspaces created prior to December 21, 2022.
- If you created your Workato workspace after December 21, 2022, we strongly recommend you instead take the Recipe Lifecycle Management for Environments course.
- If you created your Workato workspace prior to December 21, 2022 and are interested in enabling Environments for free, contact your Customer Success Manager to initiate a migration request.
Otherwise, feel free to continue with the course until it is archived.
In this course, we will define recipe lifecycle management, or RLCM, and discover some of the benefits of having an RLCM strategy. Next, We will discuss environment strategy and the importance of role-based access in governance. Then, we’ll walk through the recipe lifecycle stages and offer some specific governance processes. Finally, we will examine recipe environment promotion and review release management best practices.
